DG the Artist is a DMV-based rapper and hyperpop artist known for his electrifying stage presence, his wholesome but existential lyrics, and his raw energy that shines through on every track. Originally renowned for his world-class Rubik's Cube speedsolving and YouTube content under the name DGCubes, he now brings the same dedication and passion to music that he was known for in the cubing world.
His music tackles themes from his struggles with OCD to his strong stance on veganism. After the success of his 2025 album You Deserve The World, DG pivoted hard, quitting his software engineering job to pursue a career in music full-time. In 2026, he released his debut EP as a full-time rapper, I QUIT MY DAY JOB, which he describes as a celebration of his exit from the corporate world.
