Born in New Jersey and based outside Washington DC, DG the Artist is a rapper and hyperpop artist with a deep passion for his craft. Previously known for his world-class Rubik's Cube speedsolving and YouTube content under the name DGCubes, he now brings the same level of dedication to music that he was known for in the cubing world.
DG's unique ability to navigate many genres and styles sets him apart from his contemporaries. Across his two albums "Hello World" (2022) and "Ego Death" (2023), DG masterfully executes high-energy tracks that put his positive attitude and love of life at the forefront, as well as introspective tracks that cover topics from his struggles with OCD to his decision to go vegan. Regardless of genre, you can feel DG's raw energy and emotion at the center of every track.
With the help of his devoted fanbase on YouTube (1.5K subscribers) and across the internet, DG has been able to make his dreams come true, performing on stages for energetic crowds across the country. DG is now gearing up to share his proudest work yet as he works towards his third album release in May, 2025.

This song is all of DG's chaotic energy bottled up into a two-minute fever dream. Much like peanut butter on a banana, or mango on more mango, this track's unique blend of rap and hyperpop brings out the best of both worlds. DG was inspired to release this song after previewing it at two live performances to amazing reactions from crowds, and he's been riding that high ever since.
SKATE

"SKATE" is an intensely charismatic trap anthem by DG the Artist. Alluding to his occasional desire to drop all responsibilities and "skate" by in life, the hook is instantly memorable and gets audiences chanting along. The verses slowly ramp up in intensity, building up to a climax that leaves listeners with too much energy to know what to do with.
GET MONEY

A track that sounds like it came straight out of a futuristic industrial rave, "GET MONEY" fuses hip-hop and hyperpop to create an undeniably earwormy banger. This hit serves as a follow-up to DG's previous hyper-trap endeavors "GET IT NOW" and "GET UP" and takes the style to a truly extreme level of rule-breaking, autotune-drenched anthemic music. The song starts out with a high-energy trap hook and transitions into a desperately emotional punk-inspired verse to keep you moving from start to finish.
